ABOUT
My name is Mikko Stamm, I reside in Zurich, Switzerland. One of my
interests is photography; however, I am not a professional photographer.
When I visited New York City for the first time I immediately fell in
love with the city. After that, I traveled to New York several times
again. My most recent visit was in the summer of 2008, when I stayed for
six weeks. During all those visits, I discovered different neighborhoods
in different boroughs, and I took a lot of photos. The variety of New
York City’s neighborhoods and its different people fascinated me. With
this homepage, I want to share my work with everyone who is also
interested in New York City and who likes photography. All the photos on
my homepage stem from the years 2006, 2007 or 2008. The information
about the neighborhoods was gathered from different sources, and I also
included my own impressions and opinions in the descriptions.
