Gerritsen
Beach is a small, very quiet
residential neighborhood in the south of Brooklyn.
Population is often of Irish, German or Italian decent, but
the neighborhood looks very American and a lot of American
flags can be seen.
Gerritsen Beach is
situated on a small peninsula, and the neighborhood has the
character of a small fishing village. The area is only
connected by bus, there is no subway line serving Gerritsen
Beach.
