Greenpoint
is the northernmost
neighborhood of Brooklyn. It's sometimes referred to as
Little Poland, due to its large population of Polish
immigrants. People living here are mostly working-class, but
also younger people from nearby Williamsburg have moved here
recently. But still the Polish are predominant and you'll
find lots of Polish shops and restaurants there, Polish food
and newspapers in Polish language.
