Sheepshead
Bay is a mainly residential
neighborhood in the south of Brooklyn. I just visited this
place because I wanted to walk to Gerritsen Beach, and the
closest subway station is Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay. So I
walked east all along Avenue U until I reached Gerritsen
Avenue.
It seems as if the
neighborhood is ethnically very diverse, shops from very
different countries are located at Avenue U. I had the
impression that Sheepshead Bay could be somewhat a
typical average Brooklyn neighborhood.
