Manhattan
is the commercial, financial
and cultural center of New York City. For most tourists New
York means Manhattan because the skyline, all the big tourist
attractions and the famous neighborhoods are located there.
It is also the center of New York's public transport, almost
every
subway line runs through Manhattan. Geografically Manhattan is the smallest of the five boroughs,
population-wise however the third largest.
