Ozone
Park is a mainly residential
neighborhood in Queens, located near JFK Airport. The area
is known as a center of Mafia activities. Mafia families and
mob associates owned many businesses in Ozone Park. John
Gotti, a famous Mafia boss, was extremely popular in Ozone
Park, where he organized block parties and had a reputation
for keeping street crime out. John Gotti was sent to prison
several times, but in 1992 he was sentenced to life
imprisonment and 10 years later he died.
