Pelham
Parkway is an ethnically very
diverse neighborhood in the central portion of the Bronx, it
is named after the Bronx and Pelham Parkway, which runs
through the neighborhood. White Plains Road is another major
thoroughfare which features the Pelham Parkway shopping area.
World-famous Bronx Zoo is located within walking distance
from Pelham Parkway subway station.
