Woodlawn
is a small Irish residential
neighborhood in the northern Bronx bordering the city of
Yonkers. There are numerous Irish pubs, especially on
Katonah Avenue, and in addition to being home to a large
Irish-American and Irish immigrant population, it is also
the site of the famous Woodlawn Cemetery.
